| Job Description |
The Local Missionary Director is responsible for:
- Fulfilling the purpose of Child Evangelism Fellowship.
- Executing and accomplishing the plans and objectives of the local committee and the state board.
- Overseeing all ministry in the local chapter.
The local missionary director develops the ministries of Child Evangelism Fellowship® in the Greater Louisville metro area. This includes promotion and fund-raising, supervising staff, directing the evangelism and discipleship of children, overseeing the training of local workers and administrative responsibilities. This person should be self motivated, able to plan and analyze, motivate people and demonstrate organizational skills.
This large chapter includes the city of Louisville (the 26th largest city in America) and a nine county metro area. There are over a million people in this chapter, including 216,952 children aged 14 and under.
A local committee is in place and several churches have expressed interest in partnering with CEF to establish after school Good News Clubs, but there are no staff. The need is great!

| Qualifications |
We are seeking a committed servant of God who is walking daily with Him and demonstrates great faith and exemplary Christian character. The candidate must be able to meet the prescribed requirements for this position, including:
One year of Bible college training. (In some cases, candidates may be allowed to test out of this requirement.)
Successfully complete the 12-week Children's Ministries Institute and a field internship program.
Raise needed financial support.

Most children can be found in a school more often than in any other place. God opened public schools across America so that Good News Clubs can be held on site immediately after school.
