The local director develops the ministries of Child Evangelism Fellowship® in his/her local area. This includes promotion and fund-raising, supervising staff, directing the evangelism and discipleship of children, overseeing the training of local workers and administrative responsibilities. This person should be self motivated, able to plan and analyze, motivate people and demonstrate organizational skills.

We are looking for an enthusiastic director for the area of Marquette and Alger Counties which are located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. A beautiful area, these two counties stretch along the Lake Superior Shoreline. It is not heavily populated except for a few cities - Marquette, Munising, Ishpeming and Negaunee.                                        

A TCE level one training and a Children in Crisis Conference have been held there in the past year with a small number of people attending. There are people who were involved in the ministry when it was a growing work about  15 years ago.

Our State Board Chairman lives in the area and would be a good source of people contacts. There is no local committee formed yet.
