Legacy Changers, Breaking the Chains
More than two million children in the United States have a parent in
prison. These precious little ones are seven times more likely to be
incarcerated at some time in their lives than children from the same
environment whose parents have not been imprisoned.
CEF Mailbox Club™
Child Evangelism Fellowship® offers a discipleship
correspondence program for children that we call the CEF Mailbox Club. The CEF
Mailbox Club includes a series of age appropriate Bible lessons plus two 365
page devotional books. The child completes and mails the lesson. A new lesson
is returned in 48 hours. Each lesson is personally graded and prayer requests
remembered individually. The CEF Mailbox Club program is provided FREE to any
child and is operated almost entirely by volunteers. Current enrollment is over
145,000. Most children enrolled are unchurched - many are at risk.
Please Note! We have a matching grant that will increase your gift by 50%. A
gift of $100 will become $150 and a gift of $1,000 will become $1,500
Wonder Book
CEF was approached by another ministry asking
if we would design a 64 page soft bound book that they could use in reaching
the Muslim children of North Africa for
Christ. They said the book should be written to someone who knows nothing about
God and the Bible. Our writers took up the challenge and in just three days wrote the Wonder Book.
It was initially available in two languages, Arabic and French, but has since been translated into over 75 languages.
Boxes of Books
CEF specializes in producing outstanding full color Bible
story visuals for workers as they present the Gospel to children’s groups and
clubs around the world. In many third world countries CEF trained workers have
little or no literature. Most live on a basic income of $200 to $300 per month; there are no extras. You can provide $100 worth of visualized Bible lessons and
songs to one of these dedicated workers for a gift of $50 plus $15 shipping.
Good News In Public Schools
The Supreme Court ruled in 2001 that Child Evangelism
Fellowship can hold after school Bible Clubs in public elementary schools.
Local CEF organizations across the USA
are seeking individual and local church sponsorship as they target every
public elementary school in America.
A gift of $500 will sponsor one school. All gifts are appreciated. For more
information request Breaking the Silence. We don't know how long the door will be open!
SPAN
Highly
trained, carefully supervised CEF children's workers in third world countries
are available for immediate, full time ministry in reaching children for
Christ. They already know the culture and language and are a part of their
community. Support of $200 per month, (the typical salary of a teacher in their
country) can fund a worker in these poor countries where resources are severely
limited. This is a fantastic opportunity. Foreign workers may be asked to leave but SPAN
workers remain.
Every Child Project
You can
make an eternal difference in your community. Organize an Every Child project
using the amazing Wonder Book! The Wonder Book has become a ministry phenomenon
with over 13 million copies currently in print. The book has been printed or is
being printed in more than 75 languages. Each book presents the plan of
salvation and offers the reader the opportunity to accept Christ and to enroll
in The CEF Mailbox Club. God is using this little 64 page book to open the door
of salvation to children and adults alike in record numbers.
Operation Wonder Why
The
tsunami that devastated South Asia the day
after Christmas was one of the deadliest disasters in modern history. In
addition to the staggering number of people who died as a direct result of the
tragedy, many more then faced suffering in the months to come due to disease and
homelessness. People around the world are asking why such heartbreaking
catastrophes happen. Child Evangelism Fellowship created the Wonder Why track to give to be given out to those facing suffering to answer the questions of why God lets these things happen.
