Club Ministries
Find out how God continues to use the exciting club ministires CEF offers around the world. Good News Clubs, which primarily take place once a week over the course of the school year, are more popular than ever following CEF's Supreme Court victory allowing Good News Clubs to take place in public schools across America. 5-Day Clubs , which primarily take place over the course of a five day period during the summer months, offer a unique opportunity for children to interact with teenagers who receive training in the Christian Youth in Action program.
Literature Based Ministries
For many years CEF has been writing, illustrating and publishing reading and teaching materials that support teachers and communicate directly to children. Recently, the Wonder Devotional Book has become hugely successful, and has led to an entire series of "Wonder" products that children love.
Mailbox Club Ministries
CEF Mailbox Club ™ has rapidly grown over the past five years to be one of CEF's most effective ministries. With more than 255,000 actively enrolled students from 130 countries, this incredible form of evangelism and discipleship is impacting the world for Christ.
Camp Ministries
Ranging from day-camp to overnight camp, Camp Good News® has long been one of the children's favorite CEF ministries. Check with your local or state CEF chapter to find out when and where a Camp Good News will be taking place near you.
Internet Ministries
In 2002, CEF launched the Wonderzone.com project. This unique site allows trained counselors to disciple children in a real-time, interactive environment. As a result, tens of thousands of children have been counseled over the course of more than one million page-views. Many of these children have given their lives to Christ as a result of this powerful online ministry. Other CEFonline ministries include TeachKidsMag.com , SummerMissions.com , the CEF Online Store , and the official web site for the Children's Ministries Institute .
Media Based Ministries
When J. Irvin Overholtzer founded CEF in 1937, he never would have imagined real ministry taking place today on the Internet, in movie theatres and over the radio airways. Nonetheless, this is exactly what is happening.
Wonderzone.com has grown to be a highly popular Web site for children around the world! This dynamic Web site offers real-time ministry by trained counselors around the globe.
Today's Child Radio is a hugely popular 90-second radio segment broadcast on over 1,100 stations throughout America, and reaching a potential listening audience of millions of adults. On the program, CEF President, Reese Kauffman, covers helpful topics and Biblical principles that every parent and child's teacher would appreciate.
Training Ministries
One of the great principles behind the ministry of CEF is to multiply our efforts by training others. Some of our training ministries focus on training more instructors, who can in turn train even more children's workers. Other training ministries focus on those who will teach the children directly. From the Children's Ministries Institute® to one day Super-Seminars , CEF training will make an impact in the lives of those who wish to reach the children.
Military Ministries
Military Children's Ministry is a joint venture of Cadence International and Child Evangelism Fellowship. With the strength and experience of Cadence International in working within the military culture added to the proven success of CEF in reaching children for Christ, we create a synergy that allows more powerful ministry to these special children.
