Dear Friends of CEF,

It is my honor to write about the late Dr. T. Prabu Joshua, the former National Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship of India.

Dr. T. Prabu Joshua had worked in Child Evangelism Fellowship of India for 40 years, and served as National Director for 16 years. 

 He was an embodiment of talents. He was a music composer, singer, excellent instrumentalist and excelled in puppetry. Children's work in India has witnessed new heights as evidenced by the number of children's workers appointed, the number of new chapters started and the number of children reached for the Lord.

Dr. T. Prabu Joshua has expended the CEF ministry in India. His passion for children was the driving force for result. His love and concern for the staff was always exemplary. He increased the staff salaries and was also interested in their well being. His fatherly attitude made all the directors feel comfortable at work, and excel at their jobs.

 Dr. T. Prabu Joshua had a calm countenance, but was also a disciplinarian.  He never compromised with values and standards of work, or the policies of CEF of India. Dr. Joshua was a gifted teacher and trainer; willing to help his colleagues whatever the situation.

 Prabu Joshua worked in Madras for 22 years as Madras Director, and as state director for Tamil Nadu. CEF of India got the full benefit of the model leadership qualities and administrative skills endowed by Dr. T. Prabu Joshua. A caring husband, a loving father; Dr. Joshua was surely greeted with "Well done my good and faithful servant!" by our loving Lord.

The sudden and untimely absence of Dr. T. Prabu Joshua is a great loss to us all. The most fitting tribute we could pay him would be to take the work of India to greater heights with the standards and aspirations that Dr. Joshua instilled in us- the need to reach the perishing children of India for Jesus.
