What is Missionary Candidate School?
Missionary Candidate School is a two-week training school that is offered several times throughout the year. During the school, new missionary candidates become better acquainted with Child Evangelism Fellowship®ministries and learn how to effectively raise personal prayer and financial support. At candidate school, new missionary candidates also begin working with their ministry preparation coach and get to know top CEF® leaders.
What is the cost for Missionary Candidate School?
The tuition, room and board for candidate school are all free of cost to the missionary candidate. The cost is paid from the administrative portion of their financial support. Missionary candidates are required to pay for transportation to and from candidate school. However, the cost of transportation can be reimbursed from the missionary's account once there are sufficient funds in it. If the missionary will be flying to candidate school, CEF World Headquarters will provide transportation to and from the airport for a nominal charge of ten dollars, one-way.
When is the next Missionary Candidate School?
The next missionary candidate school is scheduled for September 14 - 26, 2008. The deadline for applications for those who wish to attend the next candidate school is July 15, 2008.

- May 17 – 29, 2009
- August 16 – 28, 2009
