They are overlooked. Neglected. Outcasts to all but their own. But 12 years ago, Barna Kovacs, a CEF® worker in Romania, began a Good News Club® for Gypsy children in the village of Acas in Romania.
A three phase strategy has been developed to effectively reach children, establish church partnerships and recruit new staff (both short term and long term). This strategy was developed with the Child Evangelism Fellowship® Family in mind.
Phase One-Three weeks of high impact outreach
•Partner with targeted local churches for a 3 week outreach that includes:
•Specialized urban training
•5-Day Club® ministry in housing developments and apartment complexes
•Children's Rallies
•Good News Club® training for children's workers
•Pastors event that includes a compelling message to mobilize pastors
