The Strategy of Chicagoland '08

The Chicagoland Strategy

A three phase strategy has been developed to effectively reach children, establish church partnerships and recruit new staff (both short term and long term). This strategy was developed with the Child Evangelism Fellowship^® Family in mind.

Phase One-Three weeks of high impact outreach

•Partner with targeted local churches for a 3 week outreach that includes:

•Specialized urban training

•5-Day Club^® ministry in housing developments and apartment complexes

•Children's Rallies

•Good News Club^® training for children's workers

•Pastors event that includes a compelling message to mobilize pastors

Phase Two-One year of follow-up

•Mobilize partnering churches in Good News Clubs

•Establish short term missionaries to build ministry efforts

•Begin ministry preparation of full-time staff to replace short term missionaries

Phase Three-Ministry Establishment

•Sustainable ministry

•Long-term missionaries who are fully supported and equipped

•Continued partnership with the churches for evangelistic outreach to children in the community
