Cadence International and their youth program called Malachi Youth Ministries was well established on military installations around the world and greatly recognized by the chapel corp. Through working with Malachi Youth Ministries, CEF was able to gain access to many installations and continue to have outreach to the children.

As Cadence International and Child Evangelism Fellowship observed what was happening in Germany both mission organizations realized that they needed to form a partnership.  Each organization had something the other needed. 

Cadence International has worked with the military for over 50 years.  It has successful adult and youth ministries.  Cadence realized that it needed to reach the children but did not have the programs or expertise to do so. 

Child Evangelism Fellowship has ministered to children for over 70 years.  However, CEF had no expertise in working with the military nor did it have an established name on military installations. 

Together CEF and Cadence International formed Military Children's Ministry (MCM) with the mutual goal of reaching every child of the US military around the world.  By combining the expertise of Cadence in working with the military and the expertise of CEF in working with children, we believe that this goal will be achieved.

Cadence International is the non-profit organization that facilitates this project. Cadence International is an evangelical mission agency dedicated to reaching the military communities of the United States and of the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Cadence International does this through Hospitality Houses (off-base homes that provide meals, Bible studies, activities, and lodging for military personnel), retreat centers, youth groups, and children’s ministries. Each effort of Cadence International reflects the missions model" "Sharing the Gospel and our lives wit the military community.”
