CEF trained volunteers and staff will be converging on Boston, July 19-31, 2010--and you can be involved! This team will partner with
the evangelical churches in the area to bring the hope of the Lord Jesus to children and their
families.
Boston has a nickname, The City on a Hill - it originally came from Massachusetts Bay Colony's governor John Winthrop's goal to create the biblical "City on a Hill." Yet, do the children of Boston know of their heritage?
With relatively few evangelical churches, Boston is a city filled with spiritual darkness. Many people do not know God and sometimes have never even heard of Jesus Christ. When told about God, one child in Boston responded, "What is God?"
This city - its children - urgently need the light of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have seen how God brought this hope to thousands of children in the
cities of Chicago and Little Rock by answering the persistent prayer
and action of His people.
The Bible says, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14). God wants to
use you to share the Gospel with the next generation. God can use you to make a difference in Boston this summer!
