156th Children's Ministries Institute Set to Begin
In just a few short weeks the 156th USA Children’s Ministries Institute (CMI) will begin (January 23-April 19, 2013). Students attending represent 19 States, China and Canada and range in age from 18-63.
Singles, married couples and families with children will make up the student body. Some are attending in order to complete the training necessary to serve full time with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Some have committed to a year-long ministry with CEF. Others know that God has given them a love for ministry to children but aren’t quite sure where God will lead next. However, all recognize that additional training is necessary to equip them for the task of evangelism and discipleship of children.
The Children’s Ministries Institute provides specialized, practical training in children’s ministries not found in Bible colleges or Christian universities. The classes are set up in a modular format, making it easy for students to take courses as they fit into their schedules and needs for ministry. Some students come for one module and return home to put what they have learned into practice. Others stay for multiple modules. The entire course is 12 weeks in length. Courses offered relate to the following areas: Children’s Ministries – Students gain skills in understanding, evangelizing and discipling children through a variety of methods and programs.
Teacher Training – Students learn how to train others to minister to children. Leadership Development – Three modules help cultivate the skills and qualities necessary to administrate a children’s ministry.
Students completing different modules of CMI qualify for certificates, CEU’s and/or a diploma.

The Fall Session will be held August 21-November 15, 2013.
If you have a heart for reaching children for Christ and discipling them, if you desire to train others in this ministry or if you are seeking career opportunities in this field, CMI is just what you are looking for!
