Christian kids streaming service adds to its Christmas lineup for families seeking values-aligned content

ST. LOUIS — This holiday season, Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) is delivering a variety of new Christmas-themed video content on its U-Nite TV® streaming service.

According to Andy Meinzinger, Director of Digital Ministries, “U-Nite TV is a safe and free Christian video streaming platform for kids. Throughout our library of content, God’s Word is shared in a fun, engaging way to help children understand and apply biblical truths to their lives. Videos include animated adventures that teach truths from the Bible, music videos to learn and memorize God’s Word and stories that clearly teach the Gospel.”

This includes a sizable collection of Christmas content designed to help children engage with the biblical narrative of Jesus’ birth, including:

  • Animated Bible stories that visualize the Nativity story, helping children see the history of Christmas unfold.
  • Music videos like “Christmas Bells” that help young people memorize and celebrate God’s Word through song.
  • Children’s Bible teaching, including the series “Jesus’ Family Tree” and “What’s Christmas About?”which dive deeper into why Jesus came and who He is.
  • Creative retellings of the Christmas story using LEGO® animations, such as “The Lego Christmas Story,” that appeal to children’s love for building with LEGO® and creativity.

“Christmas break often means children have significantly more downtime hours at home,” remarked Andy. “Without a trustworthy video streaming platform, children often drift toward platforms like YouTube or Netflix. Even with filters, these platforms frequently expose children to algorithm-driven content that may be worldview-damaging, commercially aggressive or inappropriate.

Andy further explained, “U-Nite provides a ‘walled garden’ where every video is vetted, safe and biblically sound. Instead of ‘zoning out’ on mindless entertainment, U-Nite allows children to ‘zone in’ on the Gospel, turning their holiday free time into an opportunity for spiritual growth.”

In addition, CEF is excited to announce two new Christmas-themed releases for the holidays. “Whose Birthday Is It?” delivers a fun and engaging look at the central figure of the holiday, Jesus, while “A Backwards Birthday” tells a creative story that challenges children to rethink how they celebrate the season.

Andy shared, “The secular world has commercialized the holiday to promote consumerism, replacing the miracle of Christ’s birth with materialism and folklore like Santa and reindeer. If we don’t intentionally focus on Jesus, children might see Christmas merely as a time for getting rather than a celebration of God’s gift.”
