Position: IM Communications Specialist

Department: International Ministries

Supervisor: IM Communications Manager

General Responsibilities

Provides timely and clear communication specific to International Ministries in support of the field. Gives administrative support to the IM Department by gathering, preparing, maintaining, organizing, and updating information. Assists in the promotion and helps facilitate prayer support for the CEF ministry worldwide and at International Headquarters.

Realizes the importance of the CEF Culture Points and commits to upholding them personally and in the ministry of CEF (the importance of Godly leadership at every level, of the spiritual welfare of our workers, of prayer as our foundation, of evangelizing children, of a clear and Biblical presentation of the Gospel and of a commitment to excellence, for the glory of God).

Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming communications ([email protected] and voicemails) keeping in mind security issues and current situations. Passing them to the appropriate person as needed.
  • Update IM contact information and distribute as needed.
  • Track and Monitor Newsletter submissions from the International field, and ensure that RDs, NDs and SPAN workers submit their newsletters in a timely manner and if necessary support the field in providing templates and other guidance to ensure that newsletters are of the best quality. Upload approved content to the appropriate sites / folders.
  • Gather potential content for email newsletters (National Director newsletter, prayer newsletter, etc.)
  • Assess, report, organize, upload, and assign metadata as required to newsletters, stories, testimonies, pictures, and videos received from the field.
  • Assist in processing, organizing, and updating SPAN missionary online applications as needed including translation of online applications from other languages to English using prescribed translation tools.
  • Assist with weekly flag raising tasks as needed.
  • Assist with Powered by Prayer coordination duties including interaction with field staff and IHQ as necessary.
  • Assist with special projects as requested.
  • Support in various projects where editing skills are required such as review of IM Manual, monthly devotion calendar, support of NDI, etc.
