ST. LOUIS Summer is a prime time for movie studios to release big-budget films aimed at capturing the attention of families who find themselves with extra time on their hands. However, these Hollywood blockbusters often contain violence, obscenities and sexual content, making them unsuitable for children, even if marketed toward them. Parents who are wary of Hollywood values have a far better way to entertain children: Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF) U-Nite platforms.

The ministry’s U-Nite platforms have proven to be an effective tool to connect children with the Gospel through technology and are one of the evangelism tools that CEF utilized in order to reach and impact 31 million children in 2024. In 2025, CEF aims to reach 35 million children in face-to-face ministry, and an additional 4 million impacted through literature and digital distribution through U-Nite.

“Each year, CEF remains dedicated to expanding its outreach by 15%, ensuring more children hear the Good News for the first time,” said CEF Director of Digital Ministries Andrew York.

“The U-Nite platforms, along with our other ministries used worldwide, play a vital role in evangelizing and discipling young hearts, to reach every child, every nation, every day. In 2024, CEF invested heavily in literature and digital distribution, impacting 3.6 million children.”

On U-Nite TV, God’s Word is shared in a fun, engaging way to help children understand and apply biblical truths to their lives. Kids can stream animated adventures that teach truths from the Bible, music videos to learn and memorize God’s Word, and stories that clearly teach the Gospel.

“Summer can be a great time for kids to relax, but it also means parents are looking for ways to keep them engaged without just handing over a screen,” said York.

“That’s where the U-Nite platforms really shine. With U-Nite TV, parents can give their kids something fun to watch that’s also filled with truth from God’s Word. Whether it’s animated Bible stories, catchy Scripture song videos, or short devotionals, everything is designed to point kids to Jesus in a way they’ll actually enjoy.”

U-Nite Radio unites kids with the Gospel through adventures and foundational, biblical truths. The short episodes of Good News Heroes and Good News Devos teach children through engaging stories. Episodes can be downloaded so children can listen anytime and anywhere!

“It works on phones, tablets, and TVs, so it’s easy to use at home or even on the go. The best part? Parents don’t have to worry about ads, strange pop-ups, or what’s coming on next. It’s all safe, intentional, and rooted in God’s truth.”

One of the newest videos on the U-Nite platform is ‘Follow the Tracks,’ which clearly shares the Gospel in a way that’s creative, visual and connects with kids.

“U-Nite is making a strong commitment to continue producing more content like this: videos that not only entertain but also clearly explain who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him,” York said.

What people are saying about U-Nite:

“I like the U-Nite program because it’s current, it’s relevant, it’s exciting. The animation is very good. The storyline is consistent with everything CEF does, and that’s excellence. They are using technology to help change the mindset, help develop character, and show that Christianity is not just stories; it’s real life. Providing content in different languages is crossing barriers.” — Nazzareno Tari, Ministry Partner of CEF

“I have the U-Nite platform downloaded because I now have a grandson, and he’s just getting old enough to be able to watch and to listen. I know it’s safe, and if he ever gets hold of the remote, I know he can’t get anywhere that I don’t want him to go. I encourage people to use U-Nite because we want them to know that there is good quality Christian training available to children, and you don’t need to worry that they’re going to see something they shouldn’t.” — Becky Bryant, Director of Training for CEF North Carolina
