On a recent Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa, not even snow could keep more than 2,000 children and their families from enjoying inflatable rides, music, karate demonstrations, snow cones, popcorn, puppets and much more at the Sioux City Convention Center.
On July 17, 2016, Rio de Janeiro hosted 30 teams totaling 123 people from Brazil, Mexico, the USA, Argentina and Bolivia who were training for a rigorous 23-day event with the potential to result in gold – streets of gold – for thousands of children.
According to the United Nations, by the end of 2016 there will be around 4.7 million refugees from Syria and another 13.5 million displaced from their homes within the country. This dispersion of people provides many opportunities to share Jesus with people who may have never had a chance to hear of Him.
