ST. LOUIS While Christmas may seem a long way off, retail giants like Walmart and Costco are already lining shelves with Christmas décor, and it won’t be long before advertisements are in full swing.

Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF) has also been preparing for its Christmas Party Club™ for months now. Worker training is happening now, aiming to reach children in communities around the world with the real meaning of Christmas.

Dean Hunsucker, CEF Executive Director of Global Media, shared how the ministry prepares Christmas Party Club materials more than a year in advance to ensure they’re ready for delivery around the world: “The materials begin to be printed in November of the prior year and start to get shipped out as early as January and February. We ship to more than 80 individual countries. That doesn’t include the countries that print materials in-country, such as the Middle East and European countries.”

During the 2024 Christmas Party Club season, CEF conducted 9,069 training seminars with over 247,000 volunteers who led 310,033 clubs and reached over 10.3 million children with the Good News of Jesus. This year, they continue their bold mission: to reach millions more children with the hope of Christmas.

“Our goal in 2025 is to conduct 17,000 Christmas Party Club seminars to train 320,000 volunteers, to conduct 470,000 clubs, and to reach 14 million children with the true meaning of Christmas,” says CEF Vice President of Administration Fred Pry. “Children love Christmas and see it as a season of gift-giving, which makes them especially open to hearing about God’s greatest gift: His Son.”

Each club is Gospel-centered, fun and exciting with all children in mind, including those who want to learn more about Jesus Christ. CEF will equip volunteers and leaders with the training, materials and activities they need to confidently host a Christmas Party Club.

A Christmas Party Club can open the door for more ministry through a CEF Good News Club® at a school, community center, church or home. A Good News Club can be the next step in reaching more children and nurturing their faith through further discipleship in God’s Word.

Noteworthy 2024 CEF Christmas Party Club reports:

Red River, Texas, USA

“Our first Christmas Party Club was held at Southern Hills on December 3, where we had 22 children hear the Gospel and several made professions of faith. The team is now coming together at Sheppard Elementary to host a new Good News Club,” said a CEF staff member.

Report from CEF Burundi

“Our Christmas Party Club happened during a national transportation crisis. The material we expected to use didn’t arrive on time, and we had to use another book. We also had difficult weather: heavy rains, slippery roads and cold, yet God was good to us. We were able to conduct 48 CPC seminars, training 1,850 volunteers, who reached 49,105 children with the Gospel. Among those, at least 12,825 made decisions to believe in Jesus.”

CEF Latin America

Jonthan, a boy from a rural community in Mexico, heard the message of salvation for the first time during a CPC. After hearing the lesson, he said, ‘I want to be a child of God.’ This CPC included young assistant teachers who had been trained. It’s encouraging to see God raising young people to accept the challenge of reaching children for Christ.

“In Honduras, teachers trained through the seminars shared the Christmas message with many children. These children learned the true meaning of Christmas, and many responded with faith in Jesus Christ,” said Regional Director, Abmael da Silva.

Through the Christmas Party Club ministry, the true story of Jesus captured the hearts of millions of children as they discovered who He is and what He did to provide forgiveness of their sin and life everlasting.
