Child Evangelism Fellowship® impacted over 31 million children with the Gospel in 2024

June 2nd, 2025

‘No matter what obstacles arise, CEF® will never stop answering God’s call to evangelize children with the Gospel,’ said CEF Vice President of Administration Fred Pry. ‘We are always looking to Him for effective ways to share the Good News.’

ST. LOUISAround the world, it is estimated that over 3 billion people live in unreached people groups with little or no access to the Gospel. Many live in areas where Christians face persecution for living out their faith, while others live in geographically isolated areas, making access to the Gospel challenging. With bold initiatives to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through unique ways, Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is continuously expanding its mission to reach every child in every nation with the Gospel.

In total, during 2024, CEF clubs, events and activities around the world reached 2.2 million more children than in 2023 and impacted over 31 million children.

“No matter what obstacles arise, CEF will never stop answering God’s call to evangelize children with the Gospel,” said CEF Vice President of Administration Fred Pry. “Through the many ways in which God has used CEF to reach His children, we are always looking to Him for effective ways to share the Good News.”

Through just the three primary ministries of CEF, Good News Club®, 5-Day Club® and Christmas Party Club®, over 2 million more children heard the Gospel, totalling over 16.8 million children. The Good News Club and 5-Day Club ministries take place in neighborhood settings such as homes, backyards, schools and community centers all over the world. These fast-paced programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level and in their environment. Through a Christmas Party Club, volunteers and churches also work alongside CEF to reach the children in their communities with the true, Gospel-centered story of Christmas, with the purpose of turning many into a new Good News Club.

The ministry’s U-Nite® platforms have proven to be an effective tool to connect children with the Gospel through technology — safely and at no cost to them.

“Each year, CEF remains dedicated to expanding its outreach by 15%, ensuring more children hear the Good News for the first time,” said CEF Director of Digital Ministries Andrew York. “The U-Nite platforms, along with our other ministries used worldwide, play a vital role in evangelizing and discipling young hearts, to reach every child, every nation, every day.”

CEF has three U-Nite platforms:

  • U-Nite TV® uses video to share God’s Word in a fun, engaging way to help children understand and apply biblical truths to their lives.
  • U-Nite Radio® unites kids with the Gospel through audio adventures with foundational and biblical truths.
  • U-Nite Kids® is being developed to use games, devotionals and exciting stories to share God’s Word in a fun, engaging way to help children grow in their understanding of biblical truths and how to apply them in their lives.

The growth of CEF in 2024 is a reflection of the ministry’s dedication to sharing the Gospel and the many ways in which God works through CEF to reach the children.

In 2024, CEF around the world:

  • Reached over 5.5 million children through the ministry’s Good News Club.
  • Evangelized over 10.3 million children through the Christmas Party Club.
  • Reached 903,333 children through the 5-Day Club.
  • Evangelized over 10.4 million children through fairs, festivals, expos and other events.
  • Impacted at least 3.8 million children through digital ministries and literature distribution.

“The growth that we have seen this past year provides the excitement to expand our ministry and reach every child in every nation,” said Pry. “Millions of people around the world have yet to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Evangelizing children often leads to entire families and many in communities becoming believers.”

Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), which was founded 88 years ago, has been establishing the Good News Club in countries around the world for decades. Clubs are thriving worldwide, in countries including Australia, Cambodia, Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uganda and many more.

In 2024, through the combined ministries of CEF, more than 31 million children worldwide heard the Good News. More than 533,000 teachers were trained around the world.
